Please note: This is just the first step and does not guarantee membership. Our New Member Onboarding Specialist will follow up with you about next steps after your form is submitted.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, most programs and activities offered at The Cabbage Patch are provided free of charge to our members. Youth between the ages of 8 and 16 are welcome to become members.
Becoming a Member is Simple:

After submission, you’ll be contacted by our onboarding specialist with more information.
2. Age Verification
You’ll need to submit proof of your child’s age in person, by email, or by text. Acceptable documents include a birth certificate or insurance card.
A tour of our facility is required for membership. We’ll schedule a time for you and your child to visit The Patch and learn about our programs.
4. Bring a Friend!
Younger members often feel more comfortable joining with a neighbor or school friend. Invite someone to join with your child!
5. Participate and Grow
All members are expected to follow our Behavioral Code and participate in both structured and self-directed activities. We also offer paid leadership roles for teens through our Teen Leader program.
Our goal is for your child to grow in our five core competency areas, known as P.A.T.C.H:
- P – Personal Development and Growth (confidence, self-reliance, responsibility)
- A – Academic Preparedness and Learning
- T – Teamwork and Leadership
- C – College and Career Exploration
- H – Health and Support
