Summer Camps 2021: Choose Your Adventure!

Exciting Summer Camp Announcement from The Patch:

The news you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived! We want to share with you our plans for SUMMER! In order to maintain social distancing and keep all of our campers safe and healthy, we will be limiting our summer programs to 8 weeks of day camps and 6 weeks of evening educational enrichment. Due to COVID-19 precautions, we can only offer camp slots to current members at this time. If your child is not a current member at The Cabbage Patch, please email membership@cabbagepatch.org and we will add you to our waiting list. We hope to open enrollment to new members in the fall.

  • Day camps will run M-F, 9am to 4pm. There will also be evening programs, in partnership with JCPS, running from 12pm to 7pm.
  • Day camps will start on June 7 and go through July 30.
  • Evening educational enrichment will start June 21 and go through July 30.
  • Every child will be allowed ONE WEEK of day camps this summer. This will guarantee that we are able to serve as many of our Patch kids as possible.
  • Your child may also register for evening educational enrichment (limit 30 individuals.) This will not count against their week of day camps!
  • Camp will be $25 per week, but evening educational programs will be free. We will accept cash and card. Let us know if you have trouble paying and we may be able to offer a scholarship.
  • There will be three to four camps each week, each with a different theme. You will be able to choose the camp your child takes part in. Review the camp list here, and start talking with your children about which camp they might want to take part in:
  • We have doubled up on some of our most popular camps, to increase the likelihood that kids can get the camp they most want!
  • Each camp will contain only twelve campers, to meet state health guidelines. These groups of twelve will stick together all week, and won’t mingle with other camps to help limit each camper’s contact numbers.
  • All camp paperwork will be filled out and turned in digitally, through a simple Google Form.

Beginning next week, The Cabbage Patch staff will start calling parents to get you signed up. They will be able to answer any questions you may have and offer more information about individual camps. Review the camp list, make some plans with your camper, and wait for our call. We are excited to get your kiddo(s) signed up!
