“Don’t Quit Fighting Until The Clock Stops.” – Gary (Coach) Schaffer, 1937-2014
The Cabbage Patch family was saddened to hear of Gary (Coach) Schaffer’s passing, but we are inspired by his coaching philosophy: “Don’t quit fighting until the clock stops.” Gary learned to play basketball at The Patch and went on to win more than 200 games as coach for Pleasure Ridge Park High School.

It’s only natural for children to want to move! Whether they are jumping for joy, shimmying with excitement or even fidgeting out of boredom, little ones seem to be in a constant state of motion. Dance is a creative way to channel this energy into a beneficial pastime, but many schools do not offer dance training as part of their curriculum. The The Cabbage Patch, dance is one of the unique after school activities that inspire excitement in our members.
